For wind energy and related electrical systems, we incorporate relevant IEC standards to support type certification and project compliance, including:

• IEC 61400 series (Wind energy generation systems), particularly IEC 61400-1 (design requirements), IEC 61400-3-1 (offshore fixed structures), and IEC 61400-3-2 (floating offshore wind turbines)

• IECRE conformity assessment schemes for renewable energy components

• IEC 61400-22 for wind turbine certification (often used in conjunction with DNV or Lloyd's processes)

Alignment with Leading Classification Societies and IEC Standards

We develop our engineering designs and services in accordance with relevant standards from leading classification societies (DNV or Lloyd's Register) and key IEC international standards where applicable to client projects. This ensures the highest levels of safety, reliability, and compliance for marine renewable installation vessels, offshore wind structures, Power-to-X (P2X) systems, and multidisciplinary integrations in emerging technologies.

DNV Standards

DNV provides globally recognised rules for offshore renewables and marine operations. Our designs align with:

• DNV-RP recommended practices (e.g., for floating wind or marine operations)

• DNV-ST-N001 for transport, installation, and removal of offshore wind

Lloyd's Register Standards

Lloyd's Register offers comprehensive rules for offshore units and renewable projects. Where specified, we apply:

• Guidance for Offshore Wind Farm Project Certification

• Requirements for offshore support vessels and access systems
